Support Workers & Healthcare Assistants – For Complex Needs

Support individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions, physical disabilities and behaviours that challenge. Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, toileting and maintaining personal hygiene.

Support individuals with mobility needs, including safe moving and handling and the use of hoists. Manage behaviours that challenge using approved positive behaviour support techniques and individual care plans. Assist with medication in accordance with care plans, organisational policies and relevant training.

Support individuals with daily living activities, promote independence and encourage community participation. Follow individual care plans, risk assessments and safeguarding procedures to ensure safe and effective care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records and promptly report incidents, concerns or changes in individuals' needs.

Respect and promote individuals' dignity, privacy, equality, independence and personal choices. Work collaboratively with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals to provide consistent and effective support. Follow infection prevention and control procedures, health and safety requirements and organisational policies to maintain a safe care environment.

Candidate Requirements Ladicore Group Limited is recruiting experienced and compassionate Support Workers and Healthcare Assistants to support adults with complex care needs. Essential Requirements At least 6 months of UK healthcare experience, with a minimum of 1 year supporting adults with complex needs, including learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions or behaviours that challenge.

Experience providing personal care and supporting individuals with mobility needs, including hoist use. Legal right to work in the UK. Ability to provide one professional reference covering at least 6 months of UK healthcare employment and one additional suitable reference.

Ability to communicate effectively in English and maintain accurate care records. Training and Recruitment Checks Relevant healthcare training and satisfactory recruitment checks are required before starting work. Full details will be discussed during the recruitment process.
