Swaps Developer

Salary: £70,000 - 110,000 per year

Requirements

Technically minded and comfortable acting as both architect and hands-on developer Strong and experienced C++ developer Capable Java developer with coding experience in the workplace Strong hands-on experience with multi-threading and real-time systems Experience using SQL, preferably MS SQL Server Experience with Git-based source control platforms, beneficial Experience with Atlassian products including Confluence, JIRA, and BitBucket, beneficial Experience developing and supporting Windows technology applications, both desktop UI and server-side Familiarity with developing for Linux deployment Knowledge of swaps desirable, preferably with prior experience in this or a related area Excellent communication skills, as this is a front office role Ability to perform well under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines Ability to work with colleagues around the world Natural problem solver Committed team player Able to work through problems, propose solutions, and implement them at pace

Responsibilities

Provide leadership as required to ensure successful delivery of a project Own specific projects or issues from start to finish, including documentation Work with global colleagues, stakeholders, and management to ensure appropriate prioritisation Write high quality code, perform unit testing, work with QA, and oversee the production release cycle Provide 2nd line trade support queries Technologies: Architect Atlassian BitBucket Confluence Git Support JIRA Java Linux SQL Windows UX UI Design More: We are seeking a technically oriented individual to join our Equity technology team in London.

The role focuses on developing and maintaining our Equity Swaps platform, supporting front and middle office users across multiple time zones. We will work collaboratively with business partners, analysts, and stakeholders across the organisation to deliver our strategic book of work while also supporting day-to-day operations.
