Due to the nature of the work you will be involved in, SC will be required.

As the Systems Modelling Engineer, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry.

You will be involved in:

</br>

• </br>
• Modelling in MATLAB and Simulink using model-based design techniques
• </br>
• Producing parts of a complex model including modelling the target scenario, hardware, and processor algorithms
• </br>
• Develop and implement algorithms within the model
• </br>
• Producing and verifying auto-code for the software algorithms from the model
• </br>
• Carrying out performance assessments
• </br>
• Validating model components against real world data and writing up results
• </br>
• Producing a simpler representation of the model
• </br>
• Upgrading legacy models to newer MATLAB/Simulink Vectors
• </br>
• Documenting the model changes and creating test vectors
• </br>

Your skillset & experience:

• </br>
• MATLAB and Simulink experience
• </br>
• Modelling for auto-coding
• </br>
• Assessing suitability of algorithms in the model
• </br>
• Validating models
• </br>
• Aptitude for converting an algorithm into a Simulink model
• </br>
• Familiarity with Radar and Control Systems
• </br>
• Familiarity with Digital Signal Processing
• </br>
• RF experience
• </br>
• Experience in C
• </br>
• Technical report writing
• </br>
• Model delivery experience
• </br>
