This is a varied position offering a blend of compliance and advisory work across a diverse portfolio of clients. You will play a key role in managing client relationships, providing tax planning advice and ensuring the timely delivery of compliance work.
Key responsibilities will include
Managing a portfolio of corporate and personal tax clients. Reviewing and preparing corporate and personal tax returns. Advising clients on tax planning opportunities and business structuring matters. Supporting Directors and Partners with a range of advisory projects.
Providing guidance on corporation tax, income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax matters. Acting as a trusted adviser to owner-managed businesses and entrepreneurial clients. Assisting with the development and mentoring of junior team members.
Building and maintaining strong client relationships. The successful candidate will ideally have: ACA, ACCA and/or CTA qualification (or part qualified/QBE considered for the right individual).Experience working within an accountancy practice tax team.
Strong corporate tax and/or personal tax experience. Exposure to both compliance and advisory work. Excellent communication and client-facing skills. Ability to manage deadlines and work independently. A proactive and commercial approach to client service.
