RECfinancial are currently shortlisting for this well-rounded Leicester based Practice as they look to recruit a Tax Senior professional with strong advisory capability, specifically within Corporate Tax. While a background in personal tax is beneficial, the primary focus of this role is delivering high-quality corporate tax advisory services to a diverse client base.
This multi site Practice has an excellent reputation within the market place with a solid, growing client base. What is the role of the Tax Senior? Lead and support on business and share reorganisations, including incorporations Provide restructuring advice and develop tax-efficient strategies aligned to client objectives Advise on share-related matters, including share rights, purchase of own shares, and ownership structures (including EMI schemes) Deliver SPA advisory work, including accounting input and tax due diligence Prepare and manage HMRC clearance applications Support clients with exit strategies, including Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) planning Advise on structuring businesses for growth, scalability, and risk mitigation Share valuation experience is advantageous, but not essential Corporate tax compliance and reporting Business tax advisory support across a varied portfolio Inheritance Tax (IHT) and Capital Gains Tax (CGT) planning Residence and domicile advisory Trust and estate administration What are the key skills of the Tax Senior?
