We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Teacher of Art History to join our thriving Art Department on a fixed-term maternity cover contract commencing in December 2026 or January 2027. The role is available on a full-time basis, although part-time applications will also be considered for the right candidate.

History of Art occupies an important place within the College's Sixth Form curriculum through both A Level and International Baccalaureate programmes. The successful candidate will inspire pupils to engage critically with art, culture and visual ideas, helping them develop confident analysis, informed interpretation and independent intellectual enquiry.

You will join a successful and ambitious department where History of Art plays an important role within the Sixth Form curriculum. The role offers the opportunity to teach highly motivated pupils, contribute to a rich programme of academic enrichment and work alongside colleagues who are passionate about their subjects and committed to excellent teaching

You will join a talented and supportive teaching community committed to academic excellence, professional collaboration and outstanding pastoral care. As a member of our teaching staff, you will play a full part in the life of the College through teaching, tutoring, co-curricular activities and participation in our vibrant boarding community.

We welcome applications from reflective and passionate educators with strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills and a genuine commitment to helping young people flourish. Experience of teaching A Level and/or IB History of Art would be advantageous.
