Teaching Assistant – Flexible Day-to-Day Supply Location: Birmingham and Surrounding Areas Start Date: Immediate Start Salary: £90 – £110 per day Contract: Flexible / Day-to-Day Supply Are you a passionate Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work that fits around your lifestyle?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a number of welcoming Primary Schools across Birmingham and the surrounding areas, who are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to support on a flexible, day-to-day basis.
Whether you're looking for 1 day a week or 5, we have opportunities to suit your availability, with the potential for longer-term placements! The successful Teaching Assistant will: Support teachers with classroom activities and daily learning.
Work with pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. Provide 1:1 and small-group support where required. Support children with additional learning needs, including SEND. Encourage positive behaviour, engagement and confidence. Adapt quickly to different school environments and routines.
Help create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment. The ideal Teaching Assistant will have: Previous experience supporting children in a Primary School setting. A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable).
Experience supporting pupils with SEND (desirable). A positive, enthusiastic and adaptable attitude. Strong communication and behaviour management skills. A genuine passion for supporting children's development. Why work with TeacherActive?
