Technical Architect

Overview

As Technical Architect (Consultant) at Kainos, you lead delivery teams to craft high‑quality, scalable solutions that delight users worldwide. Responsibilities

• Lead teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Collaborate with customer architects to define technical designs
• Advise on estimated effort and implications of user stories
• Coach and develop junior staff and manage performance
• Make sound decisions in a fast-paced delivery environment
• Explore and adopt new technologies and approaches

Key requirements

• Experience with AWS, Node (or JavaScript frameworks), Typescript, Terraform, AWS CDK
• Proven ability to deliver software designs for multi-tiered modern apps
• Technical ownership for a product/project including architecture, estimation, and planning
• Understanding of non-functional requirements and incorporating them into design
• Experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms, SaaS/PaaS offerings
• Strong communication of technical design in talk, docs, and presentations
• Proven ability to manage, coach, and develop junior team members
• Good communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Mentoring and knowledge sharing
• Ability to influence decisions in fast-moving environments
