Technical Consultant

Technical Consultant Maidenhead (Hybrid + Client Travel) £45,000-£50,000 + bonus I'm working with an established Managed IT Services provider looking for an experienced IT Roadmap & Technical Consultant to join their growing team.

This is a client-facing, consultancy-led role, ideal for someone who enjoys combining technical expertise with strategic advice to help businesses improve their IT infrastructure, security and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct IT infrastructure and security audits. Develop and present strategic IT Roadmaps to clients. Identify technical risks, improvements and investment priorities. Provide consultancy across Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, infrastructure and cybersecurity.

Work closely with technical and commercial teams to develop practical solutions.

What We're Looking For

Experience in IT consultancy, technical pre-sales, solution design or senior engineering. Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Intune and IT infrastructure. Experience conducting technical audits and providing strategic recommendations.

Excellent client-facing communication and presentation skills. Previous MSP experience would be highly advantageous. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to move into a more strategic, consultancy-focused position while remaining technically involved.
