Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the electrical engineering team and oversee performance, budgets, and forecasting
• Develop and maintain client relationships and WSP brand in UK and EMEA
• Drive profitable, sustainable work-winning and manage project pipelines
• Collaborate with clients, developers, contractors, and architects to secure WSP’s position as engineer of choice
• Oversee strategic initiatives with senior leadership and share knowledge globally
• Provide excellent client care and identify opportunities to develop additional business
• Ensure integration of advanced technologies and energy management in DC operations

Key requirements

• Chartership through CIBSE/IET Engineering Council (or willingness to pursue)
• Electrical design engineering expertise across power distribution, generation, critical backup systems, and energy management
• Proven leadership and team management experience
• Strategic vision and ability to align electrical initiatives with business goals
• Project management skills, including timelines, budgets, and quality standards
• Strong communication skills to explain complex concepts to stakeholders
