Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a mechanical engineering team within the DC sector
• Drive strategic initiatives and manage annual/monthly budgets at team level
• Develop and maintain client relationships and promote WSP’s brand in UK/EMEA
• Forecasting, work-winning, and pipeline management for ME(P) service delivery
• Oversee project planning, scope, timelines, budgets, and quality
• Serve as the client’s key point of contact and provide exceptional client care
• Collaborate with clients, developers, contractors, and architects to secure opportunities
• Share knowledge and technical skills globally and mentor team members

Key requirements

• Chartership through CIBSE/IET/IMechE Engineering Council or willingness to work towards
• Mechanical Engineering expertise in HVAC, cooling, energy management, controls
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities
• Strategic vision with ability to align engineering initiatives to business goals
• Proven project management experience with budget and timeline control
• Excellent communication to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Adaptability to a rapidly evolving DC sector
