Technical Manager

Overview

In this role, you will lead recladding remediation and refurbishment projects for a London-based contractor, focusing on Building Safety applications and Gateway 2 compliance. You will operate autonomously to deliver BSR works, coordinating with cross-functional teams and site operations as needed. The role emphasizes safety, technical leadership, and effective execution of complex schemes within a hybrid London-based environment. You will contribute to scaling compliance-driven refurbishment projects and uphold rigorous building safety standards.

Responsibilities

• deliver BSR works autonomously on recladding and refurbishment schemes
• apply and navigate Building Safety Applications and Gateway 2 requirements
• coordinate technical delivery with site teams and stakeholders
• conduct site visits and ensure quality and compliance
• support project planning and risk management in safety-critical projects

Key requirements

• extensive contracting background
• strong exposure to Building Safety Applications and Gateway 2
• ability to operate autonomously in project delivery
