Technical Operations Engineer

Overview

As a Technical Operations Engineer, you will manage and optimize production environments across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, ensuring high availability and strong performance for mission-critical workloads. You’ll support government-focused regions and exchange knowledge to implement scalable, reliable cloud solutions. The role blends hands-on administration with incident analysis to continuously improve uptime and supportability. This is a chance to contribute to secure, isolated cloud regions and to advance Oracle’s cloud capabilities for complex customers.

Responsibilities

• Install, monitor, maintain, support, and optimize production server hardware and software
• Provide escalated technical support for complex issues and lead problem management cases
• Coordinate escalated cases and lead internal resources or vendors to resolution; manage storage infrastructure for Oracle systems and databases
• Assist with OS/app upgrades, bug fixes, patching, and standardization projects across the Oracle tech stack to ensure cloud-level uptime
• Provide on-call support on a rotating basis
