Position: Technical Sales EngineerLocation: Scotland (Central Belt/ West Coast)Salary: £55k - £62k + Commission + Car (OTE c.£65k)The Company/ Sector: Cutting ToolsThe Role:- You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities while supporting and growing existing customer accounts.- This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you will provide technical expertise and practical machining solutions directly on-site.- Developing and managing customer relationships within your territory- Identifying opportunities to introduce cutting tool and machining solutions- Providing technical advice on tooling selection, machining strategies and productivity improvements- Conducting on-site trials and performance evaluations- Preparing quotations, proposals and technical reports- Working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment and customer satisfaction- Achieving agreed sales and margin targetsRequirements:- Proven experience in a technical sales or machining/manufacturing environment- Strong knowledge of cutting tools and metal machining processes- The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills- A proactive, self-motivated approach to business development- A full UK driving licence
