Due to continued growth, our client is looking to appoint a Technical Sales Manager to take responsibility for a portfolio of key customers while developing new opportunities across the market. This is a varied role combining technical sales, key account management and project management, with a mixture of both internal and external responsibilities.

The position would be particularly well suited to somebody already established within the architectural ironmongery or door hardware sector who is ready to take the next step in their career and wants greater commercial and customer responsibility.

The Role As Technical Sales Manager, you will become a key point of contact for customers, providing technical expertise while managing accounts, projects and commercial opportunities.

Key responsibilities will include

Managing and developing a portfolio of key customer accounts Building strong, long-term relationships with customers Developing new business opportunities within existing and prospective accounts Undertaking a mixture of office-based and external customer-facing activity Visiting customers and attending project meetings where required Providing technical advice on architectural ironmongery and door hardware solutions Reviewing project requirements, specifications and architects' drawings Supporting the preparation of door hardware schedules and technical quotations Managing projects from initial enquiry and specification through to order and delivery Working closely with design, manufacturing and production teams on bespoke requirements Helping customers overcome technical challenges and identify the most appropriate product solutions Supporting the continued growth of the business across UK and international markets The Ideal Candidate Our client is keen to speak with individuals who already have a good understanding of the architectural ironmongery and door hardware industry and are l...
