London & South East45,000-60,000 + Commission | OTE 60,000-80,000We're recruiting a Technical Sales Engineer for a growing renewable energy specialist delivering high-quality heat pump, solar, battery storage and MVHR projects across London and the South East.
This is a consultative sales role combining technical knowledge, site surveys, system specification and commercial sales, working with homeowners, architects, developers and contractors. The RoleManage enquiries from initial contact through to signed orderConduct site surveys and understand client requirementsRecommend suitable heat pump, solar, battery and MVHR solutionsProduce technical proposals, specifications and quotationsBuild relationships with architects, developers and consultantsManage a pipeline of residential and commercial projectsWork closely with design and installation teamsFollow up opportunities and close businessIdentify additional project and account opportunitiesThe CandidateExperience in renewable energy, HVAC, heating or building servicesStrong technical knowledge of heat pumpsKnowledge of solar PV, batteries or MVHR advantageousBackground in technical sales, design, estimating or pre-salesConfident discussing solutions with architects and consultantsStrong commercial and customer-facing skillsAble to survey sites and understand technical drawingsFull UK driving licencePackage45,000-60,000 basicCommission with realistic OTE 60,000-80,000Company vehicle / EV schemePensionHybrid workingOngoing manufacturer trainingExcellent progressionThe OpportunityThis is ideal for someone who understands renewable systems and wants a more commercially focused role without becoming a traditional hard-sales salesperson.
