Technology Strategy Manager - Industry Technology Strategy & Architecture

Overview

In this role you will own technology strategy engagements, shaping scope, mobilising teams, and delivering value through AI, data and enterprise architecture. You will assess current tech footprints, co-create compelling visions, and design operating models and roadmaps.

You will build business cases, pressure-test leadership assumptions, and drive consensus among senior stakeholders. You will lead medium-to-large teams, mentor colleagues, and ensure high-quality deliverables for C-suite audiences.

This is a cross-functional role with impact across AI, data, and enterprise strategy at Accenture.

Responsibilities

• Own workstreams and manage scope, plans, risks, and client expectations to deliver within time and budget
• Assess technology footprint and market to identify value creation opportunities, including AI-enabled shifts
• Define and co-create technology visions, shaping data, AI, GenAI and agentic AI in business strategies
• Design operating models and roadmaps that sequence AI investments across horizons
• Build and test business cases aligned to client planning cycles and leadership assumptions
• Facilitate consensus across business and tech stakeholders
• Ensure traceability between business priorities and technology investments
• Lead senior-level client relationships and contribute to sales/origination by shaping proposals
• Lead and develop teams, set objectives, delegate work, and foster a positive environment
• Own the quality and readiness of deliverables for executive audiences
• Contribute to practice growth through capability-building, knowledge sharing, and reusable assets

Key requirements

• Deep expertise in business technology strategy, IT strategy, and roadmap/business-case definition
• Strong command of AI, data and emerging technology and their business value
• Experience in technology strategy, business model strategy, technology assessment, and market/partner ecosystem strategy
• Track record of linking technology investment to measurable business outcomes
• Experience designing and running enterprise technology strategy programmes
• Understanding of industry operations and trends across sectors such as financial services, telecoms, technology, resources/utilities, retail or consumer goods
• Expert knowledge of digital customer/commerce, connected platforms, and data-driven business models
• Proven C-suite presence and client relationship development
• Stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
