Location: Reading (RG6) Pay Rate: £15.21 per hour Shift Pattern: Flexible / Ad-hoc Are you an experienced Cook or Chef looking for flexible hours and competitive pay? We are currently recruiting for reliable Chefs to join a kitchen team based within a large warehouse facility in the RG6 area of Reading.
The Role Preparing and cooking wholesome hot and cold meals for warehouse staff on site. Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, kitchen cleanliness, and food safety standards. Assisting with daily kitchen setup, food prep, stock rotation, and station management.
Ensuring smooth and efficient meal service during peak break times. Requirements Proven experience working as a Chef, Cook, or Kitchen Assistant in a commercial or volume catering environment. Valid Food Hygiene Certificate (Food Safety Level 2 or equivalent preferred).
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and allergen management. Punctual, hard-working, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team. Reliable transportation to travel to Reading RG6.
