Job Description Terminal Operator – Rawcliffe, East Riding of Yorkshire Are you an experienced Operator with a background in fuel, chemical, petrochemical, utilities, terminal or other industrial environments? We are looking for a Terminal Operator to join a major Global fuel storage and distribution facility in Rawcliffe, East Riding of Yorkshire.
Rolling Contract position Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:00 Rate: £20.52 per hour (gross) Overtime: Available when required The role You will play an important role in the safe and efficient operation of the terminal, including: Operating plant, pumps, valves and pipeline systems Setting up and monitoring pumping routes Supporting fuel receipt, storage and transfer operations Carrying out tank transfers and product movements Monitoring operations and responding to issues Supporting planned and reactive maintenance Managing fuel stock and investigating discrepancies Completing permits, inspections and operational records Taking part in emergency response exercises and safety initiatives What we're looking for Ideally, you will have previous experience within a terminal, fuel handling, chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, utilities, COMAH or similar industrial environment.
You will also need: Experience operating plant, pumps, valves, pipelines or process equipment A strong safety-first approach Good numeracy and IT skills Strong communication and problem-solving skills The ability to work independently and as part of a team A full UK driving licence Experience of fuel storage and distribution, pipeline operations, bulk liquid transfer, permit-to-work systems or stock management would be advantageous.
