Sector: QA & TestingReference: BBBH189453_1793111805Test Automation Engineer - Contract - Inside IR35 - Glasgow - Hybrid - 6-Months We're looking for a Test Automation Engineer to build automated test frameworks that keep our cloud data pipelines and applications accurate, reliable and release-ready.
Key responsibilitiesDesign and maintain automated test suites covering unit, integration, end-to-end and regression testingWrite Pytest unit tests and reusable Python test frameworksCarry out functional testing and validate data across pipelines using SQL and PySparkIntegrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelinesRaise and track defects through to resolutionEssential skillsStrong Python and SQL, ideally with PySparkDatabricks or a similar cloud data platformPytest, plus integration, end-to-end and regression testingSoftware quality assurance and functional testingData validationGit and CI/CD, ideally Azure DevOps (GitHub also considered)Apply NOW for immediate consideration.
