Job Description Test EngineerBristol£39,000 - £42,000 + 33 days holiday + Training + BenefitsA great opportunity has just become live with one of my clients, based in Bristol! You will enjoy a varied role, where your primary duty is to deliver fully tested products and improve overall product quality through CI initiatives.
You will be someone with Test Engineering experience and ideally hold a recognied electrical appreticeship on HNC or equilivant in an electrical discipline.
The Role
Testing, commissioning, and validating advanced engineering systems and equipmentDiagnosing and fault-finding electrical, mechanical, and system-level issuesFollowing detailed test procedures, engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentationRecording and reporting test results, failures, and non-conformances accuratelySupporting product quality, reliability, and performance standardsCollaborating with production and engineering teams to meet manufacturing schedules and delivery targetsThe Candidate: Electrical apprenticeship (time-served) or equivalent qualification such as City & Guilds Part 3, HND, HNC, or BTech Level 3.Previous experience within a test, engineering, manufacturing, or production environmentStrong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across electrical, electronic, or electro-mechanical systemsAbility to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and engineering documentation18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (desirable/advantageous)A hands-on approach with strong attention to detail and commitment to qualityExperience using test equipment and validation processes (desirable)The
