Test Manager / QA Manager

Overview

In this contract IT role, you will shape test strategies and plans, estimate resource needs, and drive project delivery across onshore and offshore teams. You will advise clients on best practices, mentor staff, and help elevate testing capabilities across multiple domains, including Telco and Banking. You’ll present outcomes to stakeholders and deliver training to grow client and team capabilities. This role offers the chance to lead diverse testing lifecycles in a dynamic software services environment.

Responsibilities

• Write test strategies and test plans
• Provide estimates for resource utilisation per project
• Manage and deliver successful projects
• Manage teams on and/or offshore
• Advise clients on best practices
• Coach, appraise and mentor staff

Key requirements

• Extensive experience across all areas of the testing lifecycle
• Experience in multiple industry domains including Telco and Banking
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to deliver presentations and training courses
• ISTQB accreditation is highly desirable
