Final Tester - ManufacturingIpswich £15.49 per hour Monday-Friday, 06:30-14:48 Rolling Temporary AssignmentAbout the RolePrime Appointments are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Final Tester to join its manufacturing team in Ipswich.
This role is key to ensuring finished products meet strict quality, safety, and performance standards before reaching customers. Working as part of the product commissioning team, you'll carry out inspections, testing, and adjustments across a wide range of machines, helping maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and product reliability.
Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out systematic commissioning of finished products in a safe mannerPerform engineering and quality inspections in line with defined standardsAdjust and set products to meet operational performance and legal requirementsRecord product compliance and highlight any non-conformancesCollaborate with quality and assembly teams to resolve product issuesMaintain accurate documentation for traceability and record retentionEnsure all safety features, electrical systems, and fluid systems are fully operationalConduct road testing and speed calibrationsPerform hydraulic oil pressure testing at specified temperaturesCheck correct positioning and adhesion of product decalsEnsure all issues are resolved prior to product releaseEngrave products with allocated serial numbers Skills & Experience RequiredStrong assembly knowledge across multiple machine modelsProduct operational licence (preferred)Experience with electrical and hydraulic systemsAbility to work independently and use initiativeGood judgement to escalate issues when neededComputer literate with attention to detail Health & SafetyKnown Risks: Moving forklifts, pallet trucks, trip hazardsMitigation: Full Health & Safety induction provided on your first dayPPE Required: Safety boots What We OfferCompetitive hourly rate of £15.49Opportunity to work with a respected manufacturing companyOngoing, rolling temporary assignment If you're a hands-on, quality-focused individual with experience in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems, we'd like to hear from you.
