Job Description We are currently recruiting for an experienced TIG Welder to join a well-established aerospace manufacturing company based near the Redditch area. This is a great opportunity to work within a specialist manufacturing environment, producing high-quality components and assemblies for the aerospace industry.
TIG Welder Temp-to-Perm Working hours: Monday–Thursday 7:00am–3:45pm, Friday 7:00am–12:00pm 38 hours per week Overtime available Redditch Immediate start TIG Welder Job Description Carry out manual and orbital TIG welding of tube assemblies, brackets and components.
Work from engineering drawings, data cards, process specifications and standard work instructions. Set up, operate, maintain and programme TIG and orbital welding equipment. Inspect finished components using equipment including shadowgraphs, borescopes, verniers and micrometres.
Ensure all work meets the required quality and aerospace manufacturing standards. TIG Welder Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications Previous experience working as a TIG Welder, ideally within an aerospace or regulated precision manufacturing environment.
Confident reading and working from engineering drawings. Experience welding a variety of materials, including stainless steel, titanium, aluminium and/or Inconel. Experience using inspection and measurement equipment. If you feel you're a good fit for this position, please click 'Apply'.
