Job DescriptionTooling Designer / Mechanical DesignerðDerby Permanent & Contract roles availableYour future Team: Your will be joining an Embedded Team as a Tooling Design Engineer / Senior Mechanical Designer.

You will be responsible for performing full lifecycle engineering activities across a range of engineering projects which will form part of the submarine's new build and development programmes.

Key Responsibilities

Join us and help shape the future! ðQualificationsð Experience in similar roles with specific emphasis (but not limited to) Valves, Pressure Vessel, Structural, Tooling or Lifting Equipment Design.

Proven working experience in mechanical engineeringð Understanding of relevant design codes and safety legislation ð§ Ability to define budgets/work programmes for complete design project lifecycles e.g., requirements capture, concept design and detailed design.ð§a knowledge of materialsð Familiarity with 3D CAD systems (Siemens NX or similar)ð Familiarity with PLM systems (Teamcentre or similar)Additional InformationPlease be aware that many roles at Assystem are subject to both security and export control restrictions.
