Trading Associate Underwriter

Overview

In this role you support underwriting activities for Insurance Brokers across the UK within the eTrade unit, starting with a structured training period and then hybrid work. You focus on delivering great service, handling inquiries promptly, and collaborating with a technical coach on non-standard risks. You contribute to profitable outcomes while developing your underwriting skills in a dynamic, customer-driven environment. Responsibilities

• Underwrite policies in collaboration with Insurance Brokers and manage related inquiries
• Deliver excellent customer service and resolve broker issues in the first contact
• Handle inbound calls, live chat, post, and emails in line with the underwriting licence
• Work with a technical coach on complex/risky cases outside your current authority
• Focus on ongoing development to generate profitable results for the company

• Previous experience in a customer service environment
