Trainee Fitter

Trainee Fitter - Wednesbury People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Trainee Fitter to join our well-established client based in Wednesbury . This is an excellent opportunity for a practical and hands-on individual looking to learn a skilled trade and develop a long-term career.

Full training will be provided, with the opportunity to progress into a fully trained fitted bedroom installer. This is a temporary to permanent position for the right candidate. This would suit applicants who have worked as a Fitting Assistant, Manufacturing Operative or Assembly Operative.

Rates of Pay: £12.71 per hour Pay increase available upon successful completion of training Shift Pattern: Your shift pattern as a Trainee Fitter will be: Monday to Thursday: 7:00am to 4:30pm Friday: 7:00am to 2:00pm 40 hours per week

Duties

Your duties as a Trainee Fitter are: Assisting experienced fitters with installations Learning how to accurately measure rooms Cutting materials to required sizes Preparing tools and materials for installations Installing fitted bedrooms within customers' homes Loading and unloading materials and equipment Travelling to customer locations as required Maintaining a clean and safe working environment Developing the skills required to become a fully trained fitter Essential
