Trainee Solar Panel Installer – Wanted – Immediate Start! Regional Recruitment are recruiting for a Trainee Solar Panel Installer to join a growing renewable energy business.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to learn a skilled trade, gain hands-on experience and develop into a fully qualified solar panel installer. Working alongside experienced roofers and electricians, you will receive full training in solar panel installation, alongside general electrical installation support duties.

We are looking for someone reliable, enthusiastic and willing to get involved in all aspects of the work. Desirable

Previous roofing, construction, groundwork or landscaping experience Experience laying slabs, digging trenches or similar groundwork duties Full UK driving licence Previous solar panel installation experience is not required, as full training will be provided.

Roles & Responsibilities Assisting experienced roofers with the installation of solar panels on domestic properties Learning all aspects of solar panel installation with the aim of becoming a fully competent installer Assisting electricians with general site duties and installation preparation Digging trenches and preparing cable routes Pulling cables and supporting cable installation works Carrying out general groundwork and site preparation duties Working safely and following instructions from experienced members of the team Maintaining good timekeeping, reliability and a positive attitude Being flexible and willing to assist wherever required Working as part of a wider installation team to ensure jobs are completed efficiently Undertaking any other reasonable duties as required by the company Requirements Ideally based within 10–15 miles of the company's office in LE19 1SY A full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential Candidates with a driving licence will be provided with a company van and fuel card and will be required to collect another member of the...
