Purpose of the role We are looking for motivated individuals to join our weaving department as Trainee Weavers. This is an excellent opportunity to learn a specialist manufacturing skill within a supportive environment. During your training period, you will work Monday to Friday on day shifts, developing the knowledge and practical skills required to become a fully competent Weaver.
Once training has been successfully completed, you will move into a permanent night shift position, with your salary increasing to £34,643 per annum . No previous weaving experience is required. We are looking for reliable individuals with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
The day to day To adhere to the Camira Code of Conduct and comply with all relevant quality, environmental, health & safety, data protection, and corporate legislative requirements What You'll Learn As part of your training, you will learn how to: Operate and manage weaving machinery safely and efficiently.
Weave fabrics using both natural and synthetic yarns. Operate dobby and jacquard looms. Repair warp and weft breaks. Maintain yarn supplies and monitor fabric production. Identify and report quality concerns. Complete quality documentation and production records.
Maintain excellent housekeeping and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Once Trained
