Full job description Our client in Wynyard is looking for a Trainer to join their team to deliver, coordinate and continuously improve training and development activities across their operation. The Trainer will ensure all colleagues are competent, compliant and capable of performing their roles safely and effectively while supporting operational performance, quality, customer expectations and colleague development.

Key Responsibilities Training Delivery Deliver induction training for all new starters, including permanent and agency colleagues. Conduct classroom and practical training sessions across operational functions. Deliver refresher training programmes as required.

Assess colleague competence against SOPs, Safe Systems of Work and customer requirements. Support cross-training and multi-skilling initiatives. Operational Support Work closely with Shift Managers and Team Leaders to identify training needs.

Assist with onboarding and integration of new colleagues. Support implementation of new processes, systems and customer requirements through training plans. Coach colleagues on best practice and continuous improvement initiatives.

Compliance & Health and Safety Ensure all mandatory training records are maintained and up to date. Deliver training relating to health and safety procedures, site rules and compliance standards. Support audits and compliance reviews by providing accurate training documentation.

Promote a strong safety culture across all operational areas. Administration & Reporting Maintain training matrices and training records. Monitor training completion rates and compliance KPIs. Prepare weekly and monthly training reports for site management.

Ensure training documentation is completed, controlled and stored correctly. Performance & Development Coach and mentor colleagues to improve capability and performance. Support employee engagement and development programmes.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Essential Previous experience delivering workplace training. Strong communication and presentation skills. Good organisational and administrative skills. Competent with Microsoft Office applications.

Understanding of warehouse operations and health & safety requirements. Ability to influence and engage colleagues at all levels. Desirable Training qualification (AET, PTLLS or equivalent). MHE Instructor qualification.
