Job Description Role: Cost & Productivity Transformation Consultant (Multiple Grades) Location: Edinburgh / hybrid, with regular client-site travel Salary: £70,000 - £90,000A senior consulting role focused on delivering measurable cost and productivity improvement across complex TMT organisations.
The work combines analytical depth, stakeholder leadership and hands-on programme delivery across multiple workstreams. You will join a growing consulting team supporting software and media clients that are under margin pressure, facing investment trade-offs and needing to scale more efficiently.
The role sits at the point where commercial reality, operational change and executive-level client management meet.- Lead cost optimisation and productivity programmes across large client environments. - Build baselines, test scenarios and shape recommendations using financial and operational analysis. - Identify and prioritise savings across cost base, procurement, workforce, cloud, content, marketing and overhead. - Run multiple workstreams at once and keep delivery on time, on track and measurable. - Manage senior stakeholders across finance, procurement, technology, product, commercial and operations. - Support proposals, business development and broader capability growth. - Coach junior team members and help build internal delivery strength.- Background in cost transformation, productivity improvement, financial turnaround, procurement or operational improvement. - Credible in complex stakeholder environments with senior client teams. - Strong analytical and commercial judgement, with clear communication skills. - Experience leading structured programmes and multiple workstreams. - Consulting experience or client-side transformation experience in TMT or a comparable low-margin, high-pressure environment. - Comfortable with hybrid working and regular travel to client sites.
