Transport Planner Permanent Position Location: Sutton-in-Ashfield Hours: 7:30am 4:00pm, Monday to Friday Job Type: Permanent We are currently recruiting for a Transport Planner to join our clients team in Sutton-in-Ashfield.
The Role The main responsibility of the role will be to coordinate and plan transport requirements , working closely with subcontracted couriers using the CX system . The successful candidate will also be required to occasionally assist within the warehouse when needed, so a flexible and hands-on approach is essential.
The Ideal Candidate Previous transport planning or logistics experience is preferred. FLT licence preferred , but not essential. Good attention to detail and an organised approach. Confident using computer systems, with experience of transport systems advantageous.
Friendly, approachable and able to communicate effectively. A reliable team player who is willing to help where required. Flexible attitude and a willingness to support warehouse operations when necessary.
