Treasury Operations Specialist

Overview

In this role, you manage daily cash operations to keep liquidity healthy and payments flowing. You’ll work with Finance and banking partners to fund FX deals, settle transactions, and monitor intercompany transfers. You’ll keep treasury systems updated, support policy compliance, and drive process improvements. This position sits within Operations & Projects, contributing to OpenPayd’s mission to power global digital payments at scale. You’ll engage with internal teams and external banks to enable real-time, cross-border cash management.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily cash management activities including FX funding and settlement
• Initiate, review and release treasury-related payments (intercompany, FX) with Finance and banking partners
• Review prior-day bank activity and maintain daily cash position (inflows vs outflows)
• Monitor liquidity and intercompany transfers
• Respond to internal treasury queries and liaise with banking partners
• Maintain and update treasury systems, bank portals, and account documentation
• Support compliance with internal controls, treasury policies, and audit requirements
• Prepare operational treasury reports for management
• Assist with process improvements and automation initiatives in treasury operations

Key requirements

• Minimum 2 years in treasury operations, cash management, banking operations, or related role
• Experience in a corporate treasury function or financial institution
• Understanding of payment systems, bank reconciliation, and cash management processes
• Working knowledge of FX operations and settlement
• Strong Excel skills; data analysis or reporting tools advantageous
• Ability to manage deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Confident communicator with internal stakeholders and external banking partners
• Experience using online banking platforms; exposure to crypto/digital assets is a plus
