The Role As Trim Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the trimming department, ensuring production schedules are achieved safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will provide guidance, support and leadership to the trimming team while maintaining a strong focus on productivity, quality and customer satisfaction. A typical day will include: Coordinating daily workloads and ensuring production schedules are completed on time.
Supporting and supervising the trimming team to achieve departmental targets. Ensuring operatives have the tools, materials and information required to complete work efficiently. Monitoring workflow and quickly identifying and resolving production delays.
Working closely with Inspection and Production teams to ensure smooth movement of work through the business. Maintaining accurate job sheet completion and production records. Ensuring equipment is checked, maintained and serviced in line with company procedures.
Promoting high standards of housekeeping, health and safety and workplace organisation. Escalating production, resource or quality issues to the Operations Manager and supporting corrective actions. Encouraging a positive team culture and ensuring employees understand daily objectives and expectations.
