We are now looking for compassionate, values-driven people to join our Board of Trustees and help guide the next chapter of our work. Why Become a Trustee? As a USPCA Trustee, you will have the opportunity to influence decisions that positively affect the welfare of thousands of animals and the communities that care for them. Who We Are Looking For We warmly welcome applications from people who share our values, believe in the importance of strong and ethical governance, and want to use their skills to make a meaningful difference for animals across Northern Ireland. You do not need previous trustee experience. We are particularly interested in hearing from people with senior executive skills, knowledge or experience in areas such as: Legal and governance Human resources and organisational development Marketing and communications Fundraising, income generation and philanthropy Digital and technology Public, private or voluntary sector leadership Above all, we are looking for people who share our compassion for animals and our commitment to creating lasting positive change. We would welcome individuals who are curious, thoughtful and collaborative, who can offer constructive challenge with kindness and integrity, and who are motivated to act in the best interests of the USPCA and the animals and communities we serve. Time Commitment Trustees are expected to attend Board meetings and contribute to the work of the organisation through committees, strategic discussions and stakeholder engagement. Typically, time commitment is approximately 2 hours per month excluding travel.
