THE FIRN A leading offshore law firm THE ROLE A Trusts and Private Wealth Knowledge Management Lawyer 5pqe to join the Jersey office. ABOUT YOU A qualified Commonwealth Lawyer 5pqe to provide technical legal support for the Channel Islands Trusts and Private Wealth practice groups and to build, manage and maintain knowhow and knowledge management for all TPW practice groups, in alignment with global objectives and approach of the Knowledge Team in the Jersey office.
The candidate will be responsible for: In the Channel Islands: - * Responding to fee-earner research queries. * Creating precedents and knowhow materials. * Designing and delivering legal and knowledge training as agreed with reference partners for the legal practices. * Support production of client alerts and thought leadership for the legal practices.
In all jurisdictions: * Developing and implementing knowledge plans for the legal practices and progressing wider knowledge goals and projects including organisation of knowhow system, Compass Knowledge pages, document automation etc. * Managing and making easily accessible the legal practices' collection of precedents and encouraging and managing contributions to knowhow. * Monitoring legal and market developments for the legal practices and keeping the lawyers up to date. * Organising legal and knowledge training as agreed with reference partners for the legal practices. * Working with partners and the marketing team to identify relevant client alert topics PSL or knowledge management experience is preferred.
