This is a great opportunity for an engineer with strong experience across UPS systems, critical power, commercial BESS, batteries and electrical maintenance to join a highly respected business with a strong reputation in the market.
The Role As a UPS Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and fault finding on UPS systems and commercial battery energy storage systems across client sites. You will work on a range of critical power equipment, supporting customers with planned maintenance, reactive callouts and technical support.
Responsibilities Service, maintain and repair UPS systems across customer sites Work on commercial BESS assets, including maintenance, inspections and fault finding Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance Diagnose and repair faults on UPS systems, batteries and associated electrical equipment Complete battery inspections, testing and replacements Carry out site surveys, reports and service documentation Provide technical support and advice to customers Work safely in line with company procedures and electrical regulations Participate in callout rota where required Requirements Experience working on UPS systems, critical power, standby power or similar electrical equipment is essential Commercial BESS experience is essential Strong electrical maintenance and fault-finding skills Experience with batteries, switchgear, power electronics or generators would be beneficial Electrical qualification such as NVQ Level 3, City
