3.5 Tonne Driver – Coatbridge People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 3.5 Tonne Driver, Van Driver or Multi-Drop Driver to join our well-established client based in Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire . This is a fantastic opportunity offering £13.00 per hour, guaranteed ongoing work, weekly rotas issued in advance, immediate starts, and the opportunity to secure a permanent position with a well-established business.

This role is ongoing for the right candidate and offers guaranteed minimum paid hours every shift. Please note: You must be aged 21 or over for insurance purposes. Shifts • Monday to Friday Early and late shifts available Weekly rota issued in advance Working any four nights out of seven Shifts between five and ten hours per day Rates of Pay £13.00 per hour • Guaranteed minimum of five hours' pay per shift Weekly pay (PAYE – holiday accrued separately) Benefits As a 3.5 Tonne Driver, you will receive: Guaranteed ongoing work Weekly rota issued in advance Opportunity for a permanent position for the right candidate Guaranteed minimum of five hours' pay per shift Weekly pay Free on-site parking Close to motorway links Site canteen and vending machines Immediate starts available Paid induction and training provided Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment Day-to-Day Duties As a 3.5 Tonne Driver, your duties will include: Assisting with loading and unloading the vehicle at the start and end of each shift Delivering goods from the warehouse to stores and collecting returns Completing between six and eight store deliveries per shift Working any four nights out of seven, with rota provided weekly Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance issues Providing excellent customer service at all delivery points Completing delivery paperwork and vehicle checks accurately Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time Essential Skills As a 3.5 Tonne Driver, you will need: Valid UK Category B Driving Licence Held your driving licence for a minimum of two years No more than six penalty points for minor offences only No IN, DR, DD, or CD convictions accepted Aged 21 or over due to insurance requirements Good written and verbal communication skills Good geographical knowledge and the ability to work to delivery schedules A reliable and professional attitude Desirable Experience Previous commercial driving experience would be advantageous • Previous multi-drop delivery experience would be beneficial Previous experience as a Van Driver, Delivery Driver, Home Delivery Driver, or Parcel Driver would be desirable Training Provided Paid site induction following a successful theory and driving assessment Minimum of three paid training shifts alongside an experienced driver Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment Apply: If you are ready to take on this opportunity as a 3.5 Tonne Driver, apply today and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch.
