Job Description Van Driver - Exeter£15.50 per hour | Monday to Friday | Immediate Start | Temp to PermBarker Ross are currently recruiting for a Van Driver to join a busy and well-established client based in Exeter .This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for ongoing, full-time work , excellent pay and the opportunity to secure a permanent position .The RoleYou will be completing multi-drop deliveries across Exeter and the surrounding areas , providing a reliable and professional service to customers.

You won't be thrown straight in at the deep end. When you first start, you'll have a chance to learn the role, routes and delivery process, with your workload initially kept at around 6-10 drops per day .As you become more confident and familiar with the job, the number of deliveries will gradually increase.

Experienced drivers can eventually expect to complete approximately 30-50 drops per day , with busier periods during peak times of the month. Your Duties Will Include: Multi-drop deliveries across Exeter and surrounding areasStarting with approximately 6-10 drops while learning the roleGradually building up to 30-50 drops per day as you become establishedLoading and unloading your vehicleDelivering goods safely and efficiently to customersCompleting daily vehicle checksManaging delivery paperwork and records accuratelyProviding a professional and friendly serviceWorking independently and managing your delivery scheduleWhat's on Offer?£15.50 per hourMonday to Friday - no weekend workWorking hours of 7:30am - 5:30pmImmediate start availableOngoing, full-time workTemp to perm opportunity for the right personTraining and support while you learn the roleA manageable number of drops when you first startOpportunity to secure a stable, long-term positionWhat We're Looking For: A full UK driving licencePrevious 3.5T van driving or multi-drop delivery experienceNo more than 6 penalty pointsNo DR, DD, IN or TT99 endorsementsPhysically fit and comfortable with loading and unloadingGood customer service and communication skillsReliable, punctual and able to work independentlySomeone available to start immediatelyIf you're an experienced Van Driver, Delivery Driver or Multi-Drop Driver looking for a well-paid Monday-to-Friday role in Exeter, we'd love to hear from you.
