Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where safety, efficiency and teamwork are key? If so, we have the perfect role for you. Were looking for an experienced Workshop Supervisor to join our team in Leicester, you will work a 4 on 4 off shift working night time hours.
Reporting directly to the Workshop Manager, youll play a vital role in ensuring our fleet operates safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime. What youll do on a typical day: Oversee daily workshop operations, including workload planning and technician productivityEnsure high-quality maintenance and repair work, including service inspections and MOT preparationManage job cards and service schedulesControl parts spend, ordering and justificationDeputise for the Workshop Manager when requiredEnsure warranty work is captured and processed correctlyOversee QHSE best practice and compliance with legislationHandle breakdowns and external sub-contracting when necessaryManage absence processes, return-to-work interviews, and day-to-day people supervisionWhat you need to succeed at XPO:Qualified and experienced in commercial vehicle maintenancePrevious supervisory experience within a workshop environmentStrong understanding of operator licence and legislative requirementsExperience working with suppliers and external contractorsExcellent communication and organisational skillsIT literate with the ability to update systems and service schedulesResilient, proactive and focused on delivering resultsBe part of something big.
