Vehicle Technician

We are recruiting an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our clients established car dealership workshop in Guildford. This permanent, full-time role offers excellent earning potential, manufacturer training and genuine long-term career development within a supportive team.

Duties

The Vehicle Technician will complete vehicle health checks using the latest diagnostic technology Carry out servicing and inspections in line with manufacturer guidelines Complete pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles Inspect vehicle lights, tyre pressures, mechanical systems and electrical components Carry out authorised minor repairs and additional work Fit customer-requested accessories Complete basic mechanical and electrical diagnosis Carry out warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer procedures Road test vehicles to confirm faults have been rectified Complete all relevant paperwork to a high standard

Requirements

Qualified Vehicle Technician with an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification Previous experience within a dealership or independent garage Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills Full UK driving licence Self-motivated, ambitious and reliable approach Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high standards Ability to work effectively within a busy workshop team Manufacturer brand experience is advantageous, although full accreditation training can be provided Our ideal Vehicle Technician will be committed to delivering excellent customer service and quality workmanship This Vehicle Technician opportunity is ideal for an experienced automotive professional seeking strong earning potential, first-class training and career progression with an established dealership.
