Job DescriptionSummaryAres Management is seeking to hire a Vice President, EMEA Consultant Relations, who is flexible, collaborative, and commercially minded, to be based in our London office. This individual will be responsible for nurturing and developing consultant and OCIO relationships and raising capital for Ares products.

Our global consultant relations team operate as platform generalists, covering the full product suite and work closely with our global relationship management team in a collaborative manner.

Primary Functions & ResponsibilitiesDevelop, manage, and deepen long‐term relationships with existing and prospective consultants, OCIO and investors through a consultative, solutions‐oriented approach across all Ares strategiesWork and collaborate with Global Consultant Relations team to manage Consultant outreachMaintain an ongoing dialogue with consultants, OCIOs and investors to understand investment objectives, portfolio needs, and constraintsAct as a trusted advisor to investors by combining market insight, product knowledge, and a deep understanding of the Ares platformCultivate business relationships with the wider community to stay informed on market, industry, peer group, regulatory and product trendsRepresent Ares externally at industry conferences, events, and relevant consultant and investor forums, enhancing the Firm's brand and market presenceWork closely with the EMEA and Global team and other internal stakeholders (investment teams, product, IR, legal, compliance) to stay fully informed on fund performance, market developments, and pipeline activityProvide structured feedback to internal teams on consultant sentiment, product demand, and evolving market trendsArticulate Ares' investment philosophy, processes, and platform clearly and crediblyEducation/Certification Advanced degree or equivalentPrevious role in sales for Asset Management / Alternative Investments firmKnowledge of alternative investment products such as Real Estate, Credit, Infrastructure, and Private EquityNetwork of professional contacts in the consultant and institutional investment communityAbility to travelExperience Required6-10 years of relevant experienceDemonstrated track record of achieving objectives and asset raisingSeasoned professional with high energy, enthusiasm and driveStrong communication and presentation skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentReporting RelationshipsThere is no set deadline to apply for this job opportunity.
