VP, Finance & Operations

Overview

In this role you will oversee FP&A for Global Professional Services and lead GPS back-office operations, ensuring financial clarity and scalable operations across a global services business. You partner with GPS leadership to translate complex operational data into actionable financial outcomes, addressing AI-enabled delivery models and evolving service offerings.

You will shape financial planning, profitability, and resource management while guiding automation and process improvements across global teams. This role offers strategic influence, cross-functional collaboration, and the opportunity to drive transformation at scale.

Responsibilities

• Own GPS financial planning cycle (AOP, quarterly forecasts, long-range plans) and deliver clear, actionable performance reports
• Build and maintain financial models for a services business (headcount, utilization, revenue, profitability)
• Track bookings/backlog/revenue across product lines and geographies; support new business models and revenue recognition implications
• Lead back-office operations including billing, project administration, and PSA system rollout (Certinia); ensure timely revenue recognition
• Oversee Sales Operations (Salesforce), quota/forecast tracking, and pipeline hygiene; drive process standardization
• Partner with GPS leadership on headcount planning and workforce cost management; support capacity decisions
• Act as Finance & Operations point of contact for incubating businesses; build frameworks for growth
• Collaborate with Corporate Finance, HR, IT, and Product; develop distributed FP&A and operations teams
• Represent GPS in enterprise initiatives (ERP projects, AI adoption) and drive cross-functional partnerships
• Provide strategic and thought leadership on pricing strategy, AI-enabled delivery, and business model evolution

Key requirements

• Extensive FP&A, financial management, or business operations experience in services (professional/technology)
• Experience supporting or leading a service business with P&L drivers (utilization, capacity, revenue recognition, project economics)
• Experience overseeing operational functions beyond finance; process-focused leadership
• Strong financial modeling skills for multi-geo, multi-product scenarios
• Proven ability to build partnerships translating data into decisions
• Experience managing distributed onshore/offshore teams
• Familiarity with PSA/ERP systems (Certinia/FinancialForce, Salesforce, SAP) a strong plus
• Comfort operating in a matrixed global organization; ability to influence without authority
• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; MBA or CPA a plus
