Crane Worldwide Logistics is a leader in supply chain solutions with over 130 locations across 30 countries providing individual services that address our clients logistics challenges. The Warehouse Operations Manager will be responsible for the production safety and efficiency of all warehouse operations.
Other responsibilities include supervision of workers and ensuring that shipping and receiving is carried out efficiently and profitably. Essential Job Functions: Ensuresplanningdirectionschedulingand assignment ofjobs forwarehousestaff.
Manages department performance through coaching mentoring and motivationof warehouse staff. Coordinates work activities of warehouse operations with other departments to ensure better efficiency and cohesion. Oversees cost control measures to strengthen gross profit and contribution.
Maintains operational reliability of warehouse equipment through a third-party vendor and safeguards companyassets. Other Skills Abilitues: Ability to analyze and resolve complex warehouse operational issues. Ability to be a team-player and work effectively with senior-level staff.
Ability to manage and lead staff to excellent performance. Proficient at MS Office Ability to pay attention to detail and be highly organized. Ability to handle warehouse accounting and book-keeping. Working knowledge of electronic inventory control system Working knowledge of safety and security procedures Education Experience: 5 or more years of experience with warehouse work.
3 or more years of supervisory or management experience Certifications Licenses Professional certification may be required in some areas.
