Develop your career within a leading water treatment business.**Are you an experienced **Water Treatment Engineer** looking for a role offering variety, autonomy and the opportunity to work across some of the UK's most important commercial and industrial sites?
Were working with a leading specialist in **water treatment and water hygiene**, who are looking to appoint a **Water Treatment Engineer** to cover clients across Leicester and the wider Midlands region. This is a hands-on field-based role covering **cooling towers, steam boilers and domestic water systems**, with a strong focus on water treatment, monitoring and compliance.
The RoleAs a Water Treatment Engineer, youll visit a range of commercial and industrial sites, carrying out routine water treatment and water hygiene services while ensuring systems remain compliant, safe and operating effectively.
Your responsibilities will include
* Carrying out routine water treatment services on **cooling towers and evaporative cooling systems*** Monitoring and testing **steam boiler water systems*** Conducting water quality testing and analysing results* Taking **domestic water hygiene samples** from client sites* Carrying out temperature monitoring and other routine water hygiene checks* Collecting samples for laboratory analysis* Dosing and monitoring chemical treatment programmes* Identifying issues with water systems and recommending appropriate remedial action* Completing accurate service reports and maintaining site records* Liaising with customers and site contacts regularly* Ensuring all work is carried out in line with relevant legislation, standards and company procedures* Travelling to customer sites throughout Leicester, the Midlands and surrounding areasAbout YouWere looking for someone with experience within **water treatment, water hygiene or a related technical environment**.You might already be working as a Water Treatment Engineer, Water Hygiene Engineer or Service Engineer, or have relevant experience within a commercial or industrial water treatment environment.
Youll ideally have
