Weld Fabricator

We are seeking an experienced Weld Fabricator with strong TIG and MIG welding expertise to join its highly skilled production team. This is an excellent long-term opportunity to work within a high-precision defence manufacturing environment, producing complex, safety-critical components to exacting quality standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for precision welding and fabrication across a range of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Working from engineering drawings and routings, you will ensure all work meets specified tolerances and quality requirements while following established inspection and manufacturing processes. Key

Perform high-quality TIG and MIG welding on ferrous and non-ferrous materialsManufacture precision defence components to tight tolerancesWork to engineering drawings, specifications, and ISO standardsCarry out fabrication, finishing, and preparation activities using grinders, linishers, and hand toolsFollow defined routing and inspection processes to ensure complianceMaintain high standards of workmanship, quality, and traceabilitySign off completed work using an individual quality "stamp"Contribute proactively to continuous improvement and problem-solving within the teamSkills/Qualifications: Proven TIG welding experience within Defence, Aerospace, Motorsport, or Nuclear environmentsStrong background in aluminium welding to ISO or equivalent standardsExperience working in fabrication and precision manufacturing environmentsAbility to read and interpret complex engineering drawingsHigh attention to detail with a strong quality-focused mindsetExperience using grinders, linishers, and general fabrication hand toolsFamiliarity with routing, inspection, and quality assurance processesTeam-oriented approach with strong communication and problem-solving skillsWillingness and capability to maintain a personal quality stampAdditional Information SECURITY – All candidates must be in a position to obtain UK security clearance to SC level.
