responsibilities

Supervise welders and welding activities on site. Ensure welding is carried out according to approved procedures (WPS). Check that welders are using the correct materials, consumables and equipment. Ensure compliance with HSE and nuclear safety requirements.

Coordinate daily welding work with supervisors and other trades. Monitor welding quality and ensure required inspections/NDT are completed. Maintain welding records and documentation. Conduct toolbox talks and ensure workers follow RAMS/method statements.

Report defects, unsafe conditions and progress to the site management. Ensure work is completed according to the project schedule and quality requirements.
