Windows Security Engineer – Quant Trading

Overview

In questa role you will secure Windows platforms for a leading quantitative trading firm. You’ll design, test and implement security controls while guiding the Windows team and collaborating with the Cybersecurity group. The role combines hands-on security work with policy development in a demanding, agile environment. You’ll operate in a globally distributed, tech-driven firm with a strong emphasis on innovation and continuous learning. Responsibilities

• Design, test and implement security controls for Windows environments
• Provide guidance, support and escalation to the Windows team
• Collaborate closely with the Cybersecurity team on security initiatives
• Hands-on administration of core Windows infrastructure (AD, PKI, SQL) and monitoring/performance tuning
• Develop guidelines, standards and procedures for IT security policy

Key requirements

• Degree from a top institution
• Extensive experience securing Windows platforms
• Knowledge of Windows vulnerabilities, mitigations, and OS hardening
• Experience with log aggregation and query methods
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory, PKI, and SQL
• Ability to deliver solutions for complex problems
• Good hands-on experience in agile, small-team environments
• Powershell experience is a bonus
