Xcede have partnered with a rapidly scaling European AI company, valued in the 𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 after a recent 𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐞-𝐟𝐢𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝, who are hiring a Staff Product Engineer. They build the infrastructure behind 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞-𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐀𝐈 𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬, and their platform already runs customer conversations at 𝐠𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐞 for household-name brands across multiple industries.

You’ll shape engineering strategy and architecture while staying close to the code: scaling thousands of workloads on 𝐊𝐮𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐬, pushing 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐀𝐈 𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 to new lows and building 𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢-𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. AI is the product, and this is a hands-on role in an ambiguous, high-stakes environment.

• Own 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲: evals, observability, incident playbooks, and the PII, access control and audit standards a regulated customer expects.
• 𝟖+ 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 of professional software development, fluent in 𝐓𝐲𝐩𝐞𝐒𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭 𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐧 (or able to get there quickly).
• Experience leading 𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐜, 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜-𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 in production, and knowing when a coding agent’s output is wrong and what checks it needs before it ships.
