About the Role We are seeking a passionate and adaptable Year 4 Teacher for maternity cover . You will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons across the curriculum , monitoring pupil progress, and fostering a positive and stimulating classroom environment .
Key Responsibilities
Plan, deliver, and assess lessons that engage and challenge pupils Track and report pupil progress, providing constructive feedback Promote high standards of behaviour and learning Contribute to school enrichment activities, trips, and events Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent and high-quality teaching Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, approachable, and creative , with a strong understanding of KS2 pedagogy.
You should have excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills , and be committed to supporting the development of every pupil .
Requirements
